We were up on Clemson in '12

That's right. The 6 losses stat does not take into account games that LSU trailed starting the 4th, took the lead, then lost it. So it is a little misleading to say only 6.

Anybody have the total number of those?

That's even more impressive that we have not lost a lead or tie in the 4th since 2009.

That isn't true. We led in the fourth quarter against Georgia in 2013 and Alabama and Clemson in 2012. We were also tied in the fourth quarter with Auburn in 2010 and Ole Miss in 2013.

That's at least five games from 2010 forward where we lost after leading or being tied in the 4th quarter.

The stat only includes games we led or were tied going into the fourth quarter, not games we led or were tied at any point in the fourth quarter.

Georgia 2013
Alabama 2012

Those two come to mind off the top of my head.

Triumphtiger, apparently I made the same mistake in a thread yesterday. I looked at 24-23 and assumed 78-3 when leading or tied going into the 4th, however it was pointed out and rightfully so that the lead changed several times in the 4th Q. in various games.

Can't be right --- we have 3 losses to Bama where we led in the 4th quarter alone, I believe.

2008 - yes we led or were tied despite Lee's Pick 6's. OT loss after blocking Bama's FG into the south endzone.

2009 at Bama wasn't this the Paterick Perterson interception that was called OB.

2012 - led at home, lost in final minute

Those come to mind --- ???

Well he is 102-26. He is 24-23 when trailing in the 4th quarter.

I will let you do the math, but seems like something along the lines of 78-3.
