Why can't LSU fans give auburn credit?

Since last nights game all I've seen from this board is how auburn isn't the best because LSU beat them.
Was 03 Florida better than LSU?
Was TAMU better than Bama last year?
Was 07 Kentucky better than LSU?
Just because LSU beat auburn doesn't make them the better team.
And anyone who thinks that LSU would dominate if they played again is delusional. Even for sunshine pumpers

And LSU absolutely WAXED Auburn.

Why do you really care? Auburn's an SEC West rival. I'm sick of people being so excited for them. As for the three games you listed, two of those were really close games. We dominated Auburn for the most part this year. Our win was hardly a fluke as some like to say.

I give Auburn all of the credit in the world. They were a team that was completely overlooked before the season and at the beginning of the season; they just got better and better and better until they got the recognition that they deserve. LSU beating them near the beginning of the season doesn't mean squat and anyone who thinks that it does is being a homer.

Nobody is disrespecting Auburn. Most of the LSU fans I know are playing the "WE MUST BLINDLY SUPPORT THE SEC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING STREAK" card.
They all want Auburn to play in the BCSCG, and not because they want to say "we beat the national champion."

I give them credit....I give Gus credit. He's a great coach. He's the 2nd best coach in the conference at this point. He is the example of how you are supposed to adapt your offense around the type of players you have. The wild cat at Arkansas and this read option type hybrid now at Auburn. He is detail oriented and plans for game day very well. Les should take some notes from this guy. Gus isn't loaded with talent, but those players showed up every day to play hard and were FOCUSED.
