Trailer

So as some of you may remember a news story a few years back, it went along the lines of "prank caller calls restaurant pretending to be a cop and tells manager to search an employee. he then tells the manager to strip search, and ultimately sexually assault the employee." this is all being done because the manager thinks the person on the phone is a cop, and never questions his authority.

Strip Search Prank Scam

looks like it was longer ago than i realized, but i thought i heard about it recently.

anyway, yall should check this movie out, its a pretty good commentary on how people in this country dont question anything they are told by an authority figure and are essentially just sheep. the movie itself is pretty cringe worthy, i want to compare it to Hard Candy, but not as dark.

Be a sheep, watch the movie, then stop being sheep

Today must be "take stories from other boards and post them on a different board" day.

Yeah, this is among the most uncomfortable and awkward experiences I've ever had watching a movie.

It's completely ridiculous that the manager would obey the caller's orders to that extent, but if others were in her shoes they would probably react the same way.

Interesting film. Just so damn hard to sit through.

That's exactly how I felt.

Most rational people would do just that, but those in fear of the law would feel subjected to follow the rules despite not seeing the person face-to-face. The caller was just seeing how much he could get away with on a different type of authoritative figure - a gullible fast food manager.

Just a sad situation all around.
