I know it's early and we still have some moves to make but now that the draft is over and we have a bit clearer picture of our roster, how far do you thInk we'll go this season?

For the sake of the thread, let's assume we don't sign a big name FA this year like D-will or Hibbert.

6-8 seed in the playoffs IMO.

6-8 seed at best. Probably a first round exit. Even with as much young talent that the Thunder have had, it took them a while to get over the hump.

if we dont sign any big name free agents. i could see us on the outside looking in at the 9th seed maybe if things play out better than expected i could see 8th seed and a 1st round exit. pretty optimistic i know but i just think monty can get the best out of this team

They finish close to .500 but I think there is a chance that playoffs are a definite possibility especially if they gel quickly.

Yea 6-8 seed is like a best case scenario for us. But with the way Monty coaches, I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. And even a first round exit would be huge for us. It gives the young guys playoff experience which is HUGE. For me, the key factor is Gordon staying healthy

not only that but it shows next years free agent class that we are young and just a piece or 2 away from being a contender

I don't think we make the playoffs. I think that's pretty optimistic.

I'm thinking 12-14 in the lottery.

We make a jump after next year into the playoffs.

At least 7 games. Not a sweep.

I could very well see the Hornets missing the playoffs. It all depends on how quickly these young guys gel. The West isn't as deep and talented as it once was, IMO.

Borderline playoff team.

The big jump will come the season after this one, when we can bring in big FAs.

Larry Brown said the team who gets AD is going to win at least 50 games. So I'll go ahead and add an additional 6 wins that the Hornets had with EG in the line up last season, and we have a 56-26 team with a 3-4 seed in the playoffs.

Other than the thunder, the west talent is aging rapidly. The hornets and kings both look to have some great up and coming young talent in the west.
