Belmont is going to beat oregon state anyway so....

The ACC bias is obvious when Miami is ranked lower than most on that list and are hosting, while higher ranked teams like Kentucky, Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Oregon State are 2 seeds on the road.
Can anyone explain that?

Endless story lines in a UCF vs LSU super regional...
It'd be interesting, but I'd rather Miami.

I'll try to explain it. 1, rankings don't matter. 2, the more deserving teams don't always host. They factor in things like host sites and whatnot.

There was a seriously slanted amount of representation from the East Coast, particularly from the Carolinas. Of the 10 members of the selection committee, 4 represented schools from the Carolina's, including the chair who represents the Big South which has 7 schools in the Carolinas.

Pretty much. NCAA selections are largely just a joke at this point IMO.

We have really strong 2-3 seed but a weak, relatively, super-pairing. I'll take it.

It's crazy that UCLA & Purdue are the only two host teams that are automatic qualifiers.
