That Geauxwolverine poster posted about it on LSU's 247 site. He posted the tweet in the OP and said that BOL said they feel Bama would get him.
I have no idea where he got it from because I haven't read a thing on BOL from staff or insiders saying we were the favorite.
There is a short video that was posted on his profile for 247. I think it was some Bleacher Report shite but it had JC Shurrburt from 247 on it. He didn't mention Bama or LSU. Pretty much said he believed he would stay on close to home.
I'm on my phone or I would link it. I'll check back from work and if no one posts it, I'll link it.

Well, according to everyone's favorite BammaBuccwild on the recruiting board, all it takes is Bateman getting to campus or getting an offer and he will commit on the spot.
That's pretty much any prospect though.

He just visited UW with his whole family from Thursday - Sunday this past week. It sounds like it's a UW and Alabama race. He's visiting Alabama one more time with his coach and his mom in the first or second weekend in June and then making his decision.

Last public word I heard was Bama was the school he was most impressed with but behind the scenes the word has been Utah for a month or so. Regardless I don't think we'll land him.
As far as other top candidates it's Mitch(I'm not buying that if we press we can't land him over USCe), Johnson(do not want but at least he has a ton of potential to work with), Cody Thomas(baseball scares us I think and TT is in good shape) and Riley Ferguson(Don't think we're really towards the top but if others fill up we could back into it). After that it's the nonoffered kids with Kincaide at the top of most of our list(at the top of a lot right now period). Kid to watch is Ashiantti Woulward from FL. Kid is a stud and fits what Les wants.

I wouldnt be suprised if you saw Damian Williams get an offer if we miss on a few more.

“I would like to have things narrowed down enough where I’ll be able to make my decision pretty soon after this visit. If things go well at Alabama and it feels right, that could be where I end up. If I like another school better, and I don’t want to name names yet, but if there’s another school that is a better fit for me, I think I’ll know while I’m at Alabama. I cannot read what he is thinking very well reading this, so this visit will be a hold your breath moment for Alabama. If he doesnt commit on the visit we are probably out.
