any where kayakable?

ETA dad and another guy went last week. caught 120. kept 50 in Lake merchant.

Where is there to go in a kayak to catch specks? I'm getting one the week after finals.

Save up another $1500 bucks and buy a boat. Your options will be expanded 20 fold.

My dad and I both have boats (21ft bay and 16 foot flat). I am getting a kayak b/c im at LSU and want to have something spur of the moment to go with without having to drive all the way home and get a boat.

We meet people all the time from Kentucky, Tenn, GA, Houston, Miss and lots from NLA. People drive to fish, most target reds though.

I'm staying in BR for the summer and plan on fishing more often. Gonna use that money I save by using a kayak on gas.
