Does anybody know the time required for each 110yd sprint (for lineman), and the rest time between 110yd sprints (again for lineman)
I would actually like train to complete this at the local high school.

We used the run them in high school. We were timed, but I don't know if it even counted for anything.

Linemen need to do it in 19 seconds. Skill players somewhere around 15-17 (not sure).

I remember having to do 16 200m at 30 seconds with a 30 second rest after running a 5 mile time trial in 29:24.

that was the easier part of the workout. I'm glad I retired from xc/track at the age of 17

When did it go away? It's a pretty basic training routine for football teams.

Sounds like good training for an Oregon style offense.

Also sounds like a death wish if I attempted it.

We used to have to do this just before spring practice every year in high school to make the team.

Ran 20 of them where lineman had to be done in about 20 seconds, skills guys in 17 I think with 30 second intervals. One year people were slacking, coach got pissed, and we ended up running 26.

Oregon does this as a pre-stretch routine, except skill players have 9 seconds to run it and linemen have 12 seconds. Oh yeah, they also only get 5 seconds of rest. Sounds like LSU is lagging behind... (Kidding)

That's still fast as hell. I'm sure the first two rounds are easy(since it's just an extended 40). The later rounds probably become hell...

That's exactly the times we ran them while I was at Northwestern. That's no joke, especially if you don't make it. They had to run it again every day until they made the time.
