To get PP7 if still available. Reported by Clark Judge with CBS Sports. They have the picks to be able to do this. I hope he ends up on a decent team and not in some shite hole

And ridiculous........How the frick do the patriots know that PP won't be drafted 1-5? And if I'm a GM(1-5 spot) and this is floating I'm taking PP at my pick just to make the Patriots sell their soul for him.

They would be trading up to #6, probably using two of their first round picks to do so and then using the #6 to trade up again.
That seems like the logical thinking if the top 5 teams are not looking to trade down. At least they can get the #6 and something else. I think the Patriots will trade that pick twice if they do make the original trade up to get it.
