Anyone shoot dogs when they see them in the stand? They certainly have ruined plenty of hunts for me.

If they are without a collar they fall. If they have a collar the local neighbors are informed of a lose dog by that description and if nobody claims the dog the next time I see it, it falls. If they calim it and it is seen again they are told in no uncertain terms that the dog will not come back home the next time.

I don't shoot them.
I don't have problems with people that shoot wild dogs, but I don't care for those who shoot hunting dogs or pets.

it depends, there are a few houses back where i hunt and if the dog appears to be someone's pet, collar, and groomed, and what not, i will not shoot it, most times i will call to it catch it and find out who owns it. Now on the other hand if I see a dog that has no collar and it looks like it's wild i will shoot.

This. People who shoot pets are scum. Not that the owner is faultless, it's just that the punishment does't fit the crime. Deer hunting is not something to kill a pet over.

house dog loose, i have more sympathy with than the damn hunting dogs that come on your property like fricking clock work at the wrong time.

Where we hunt, if there's a dog around, it's a long way from home. I've never seen one with a color. Usually they're running through pretty fast and I've whistled at them to try and stop them before and they take off, which leads me to believe they must be wild. There's a pack of about 12 mangy mutts around our lease, no collars and they look pretty beat up. Well according to my brother, there's about 9 now.
Also, there are some people that run dogs around us, but you can always tell where they are, they don't stop barking and they don't really come on our land, that I've ever seen. These dogs are different. They definitely have a wild pack personality.

A hunting dog or pet should be controlled. If they are not controlled they are simply a wild dog.

I'm currently looking for a pair of rots with collars that show up on our game cameras about once a week around midnight. There is no doubt these are hog dogs that someone is running and likely the humans are avoiding the cameras. We have 1000 acres and they show up on the cams in the middle of the property to so it is not an issue of accidentally crossing a fence trailng a hog.

The trailer trash mutts that come piss on our feed and run deer off are going to be shot on the spot
How hard is it to keep YOUR dog on YOUR property?
ETA: these fricks also have stolen 2 deer cams and shoot at night. As well as shooting high power rifles while we're hunting 100yds away

I don't even like neighborhood dogs in my yard, much less wild dogs ruining my hunt. I'm making a pledge, for every dog owner I see pushing around their dog in a frigging dog stroller, I'm taking out a dog I see hunting. I'm not a dog hater, I'm a dog-lover hater. JK dog lovers...unless you have a dog stroller, then I do, in fact, hate you.
