From the LSU-UT 2000 game thread...
Can anyone remember explicitly who else we rushed the field against that year?
I know we rushed the field in 1997 against UF, and in 2000 against UTenn. I feel like we rushed the field against Bama. Some say we rushed the field against Moo State, but I don't think we did.

YES, we rushed the field when we beat Miss St. in overtime. I know, it is hard to believe. Just shows you how far we've come in 10 years.
I was a student at LSU at the time, and was one of the drunk dopes rushing the field

2000 Bama = greased goal posts. They still came down.

it wasn't that long ago we were so happy to win a game, any game.
I rushed for UF and tenn, but thought it was getting silly for moo state.

Auburn in '01. Still got a piece of the endzone.

The goal posts did not come down in 01 for Auburn, but plenty of cigars were lit.

Yep. That season the students were on the field as much as the players. I was one of them.

Last time fans have rushed the field. I was on the field and inhaled some pepper spray which wasn't pleasant. I remember this one student trying to pump up the crowd and stampede towards the goal post and try to tear it town. Unfortunately it didn't work, so everyone tried going to the other goal post. Didn't work the second time.

Yes, I remember that UT OT game well in 2000. Rushed the field with my girlfriend at the time, now wife and as soon as we jumped the fence looked at each other as others were pulling up turf and said "let's get outta here"!

Now MSU was not even close to a full rush.. It was half asses because many students felt it was too much.. We did rush the field versus UT and Bama though. UT was big win and it was our first victory at home over Bama in forever.

we rushed the field against MOO state; i remember it like it was yesterday... jackie sherill was coaching the dogs that yr. it was a big win vs. a top 25 miss state team. i think ther were ranked like 15 or 16 at the time.
that was the yr we had the QB contr over j booty and rohan davey.... pretty sure booty had a great game vs moo state but rohan had an awesome game vs UT connected with josh reed for like 3 TD'S

I was in the south EZ amongst some barners and even they were saying "Look at that jackass. I hope they kick his arse." referring to Duval. lol
