If you have followed LSU football longer than 3 years you know that dropped passes happen.

From this years 5* receivers to LaFell, Bowe, Doucet, Clayton, Henderson, Reed, Myers, Martin, Davis, Kennison, Booty they all had their share of drops over the course of a season.

Receivers dropping passes is nothing new, however everyone seems focused on it right now. The only reason it is more obvious now is because the offense has no direction and purpose. If Offense was able to gain yardage through the air then people would not care about 2/3 drops a game.

Drops are part of the game EVERY wide receiver does it, even in the NFL they drop passes, it does not mean Toliver, Randle, Shep suck, are not trying, want Lee, or disinterested. I doubt we have a D. Bryd type situation out there right now.

People complain about our receivers drops last night when in reality the WVU defensive backs dropped more balls that should have been caught than our WRs did.

People have short memories and think this is first time LSU receivers have dropped passes. I remember Josh Reed dropping a few but coming back later with a nice catch, Bowe did the same thing, as well as Clayton.

Hell even the great Wendell Davis and Eric Martin dropped passes. It is not like this is a new thing that just magically popped up.

Agreed... drops are drops.

The thing that killed me last night was the one-hoppers and the telegraphed throws. Miles lost me last night as a semi-supporter. If that performance by JJ only got JL a few plays (both passes were MONEY by the way), then we have very little hope that he will make a QB change before JJ has a chance to one-hop them right out of the fricking door.

The frustration this year is because we all know that the receivers may not get another catchable ball thrown their way for the rest of the game (either because of continued bad play calling or bad QB play).
