not gonna argue with the war eagle. that shite is legit.

I have never gotten to experience but I just don't see a bird in flight more intimidating than walking past mike or hearing him roar.
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:21 pm to rogerlsu
when's the last time a war eagle killed somebody?

Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:22 pm to rogerlsu
It is cool, but how is it more intimidating than having a tiger growl at you when you walk out on the field?
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:23 pm to killercoconut
obviously i would put mike 1st because tigers are ultimate. just saying eagles are America.
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:24 pm to rogerlsu
had to add this for good measure. the eagle and tiger should team up to cure cancer and destroy terrorism.

I thought it was a different kind of bird that flew around not a bald eagle..just wondering? I have never really paid attention to it.
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:30 pm to TampaCajun1399
yea it's another kind of eagle. golden perhaps? idk i just googled eagle and saw that
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:31 pm to TampaCajun1399
since when is a longhorn intimidating? bevo just stands there on the sideline and doesn't do anything!!!

Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:32 pm to TampaCajun1399
Pretty sure it's a golden eagle.
Posted on 7/2/09 at 5:33 pm to Jimbeaux
ya thats it. i'd but mike 1st anyway. if it were a bald eagle i'd put them 1a and 1b

It's all subjective.
Tigers are way cool, but not exactly unique in the world of college mascots.
Neither are eagles. "War Eagle" is unique enough, I guess, but the story is actually kind of lame.
The fact that Auburn has three mascots reduces it's coolness even further.

He said Devo or Bevo whatever it is was mean looking on the sideline.

Give me the choice between walking into a room with a tiger or and eagle and I'm picking the eagle every fricking time....I can't agree with that list.

Bevo is unique! I'd give the edge to Bevo. What's more Texan that a Long Horn?
If the mascot for Cal (Berkley) was a big fat doobie, they'd win the prize.
