My 9 year old wants a "real bow and arrow" for Christmas. Can anybody recommend a good youth bow. Would like for him to be able to actually kill with it when ready. Thanks

Bear apprentice 2
Draw length can be changed with an Allen wrench. No bow press needed. My son is 13 still shooting it.

I looked at several bows for my daughter, and the best fit for her was the Mathews Craze.
Bowie Outfitters had three different packages to pick from...and the bow staff walked her/me through the whole process of setting it up.

Specifications:
IBO Rate Up to 306 fps
Physical Weight 3.6 lbs.
Axle to Axle 28"
Brace Height 7.5"
Let-off 80%
Riser Extruded
Draw Weight 15 - 70 lbs
Finish (Riser/Limbs) Lost Camo AT
