I know firsthand of people who have pulled this shite on charter trips. Now, we do have our group of friends that we share pretty freely amongst. My responses have been more in relation to "acquaintances."

Kids are usually a wild-card. I'm way more willing to share if there are kids involved.

Yeah, that's easier to conceal than trying to sneak it into your Garmin on a 24' boat...

If it is salt.. I'll give up some spots if they ask... Over here the tide and time of year play a way bigger part than people think... I'll give you a spot but if you dont fish it the right time it'll produce squat... but if the tide is right then it could be the best spot you've ever fished...
Freshwater is different. If i have a good bass hole i aint tellin nobody!

Do you have some special DOD pass that allows you to do this? Also, do you avoid rigs?

I would be kind of upset if I ever found someone I knew over my grouper honey hole.

With Navionics, it would not be hard and nobody would ever know. If you take someone fishing, assume they have your whole track.

I will tell my friends location, depth, lure, line, whatever they want to know, unless we are fishing a tourny. Anyone else they get answers like soft plastics on main lake points, reaction baits on wind blown banks, and over submerged grass.
If I cant be out there fishing, I at least hope my friends who can, are catching.

ABC Rodeo a few years back, I let a friend drive us out after punching in spot, which should have taken us across a corner. I put ear plugs in and heat the bag. Next thing I hear is this piercing sound, look up and don't recognize any rigs, then I saw the boat and guns.

"Capt do you have a GPS?" Yes sir. "Capt, do you have a compass?" Yes Sir. "Capt, do you know how to use either one?" Yes sir. "Capt, which one do you think would be the easiest for us to explain to you on how to get the hell out of our area?"

That cutter can be quite intimidating.

Did you see my post about Jules at CCA are you referring to Julie?

I know Julie very well. I hunt with her husband several times a year. Well, let me rephrase that her husband and I get drunk and cook at the camp several times a year.

Saltwater, I'll tell you whatever you want to know.
Bass fishing, I might tell you which half of Toledo Bend I was fishing, but most likely i'll just lie.

Is that where you are duck hunting? He used hunt in the marsh on a school board lease that was in the middle of mine with RP.

A good portion of it. I grew up on that piece of property.

Tino, we caught a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to get back up lately. Will find out next weekend.
