Spring fishing classic...past two years they have been on sale...assume they will be again

Watermelon red baby brush hog. Same color speed craw in the spring. If nothing else is working I'll throw one of those all day

do yall t-rig the speed craws?
Posted on 2/12/13 at 11:15 pm to Tino
I t rig it. Sometimes I peg the weight with a toothpick if there's a lot of grass and junk to drop it through. But I'll do that with any t rig if its grassy. 1/8oz weight 90% of the time
Speed craws are money spring time. Early in the year I like to black/blue or just sapphire blue as well

I'm not saying but it's more than just one lure.

Toledo/Caddo/Anywhere in NWLA, watermelon orange flake baby brush hog

This is the thing I throw when nothing else works. Old faithful. but I go with the 4.5"

You and me both. That thing has cashed many a check for me in tournaments. I always dip the tail in spike it. Don't know if it helps or not but it's a habit.
I'd also have to say red/black 1/2 oz jig if I need a kicker fish.

Watermelon gold senko or 3/8 ounce gold chatter bait to find them
