You’ll learn how to lay perfect beads with the express, buy the best rain gear and get frequent patient discounts from your chiropractor.
Service after the sale should be ahead of ability to keep it clean imo. If I were dropping that kind of coin my choice would be a billfish 24.

boat I'm going to be worried about every little thing or a aluminum boat that I don't have to care about if I bump or scratch
It was a lot easier for me to buff or even wet sand a scratch or scuff out of my blue wave then trying to touch up paint a xpress. I'm OCD too and I can fix a scratch on a glass boat, but once paint is scratched it's done.

In that case you should call Gaudets/Scullys/Hankos and get some ideas on a custom aluminum hull. Price will likely be around Robalo range but the hull would last a lifetime even if you left it upside down in the bottom of Camanada pass. They build significantly heavier boats that will ride closer to glass and you can get exactly what you want. No compromises.
You could also spring for a metal shark/gravois. I believe they are priced a little higher than the others but they are fast.
And there's that whole supporting local boys thing. I've met the owners of all of the above and many of the builders/designers as well. All good people who love what they do.

These don’t ride anything like glass.

I beat the hell out of my little g3 cc and never had any problem with cracks or anything for that matter. I'm use to taking a beating so I thought a 23 ft. aluminum would be 100% better but not willing to take a chance on an xpress with all the problems I'm hearing about. I'm going to go with the robalo

Compared to an express bay boat... yes they do. The 25-26 footers are comparable to any bay boat out there.

I thought it was concise and to the point.
