Your post made me remember my sister-in-law's car. She had a canary yellow Ford Maverick. When the car was several years old, she was living in Metairie. She came out of her apartment one morning and someone had stolen the HOOD off her car! She drove the car back and forth to work for several days until she found another hood. Probably lucky someone didn't rip off her engine.

thats all fine and good but an enterprising f'ing thief will have a cordless impact with a 5/16 socket with him...ask me how I know...

they do this with spare tires too...insert modified tire tool into impact and they can steal em' pretty fast...GM makes a lock for this which I bought too late...
