You'd rather her throw her back out doing something other than buying you a yeti, amarite?

I think you've found a keeper!
Tell her that she doesn't have to and there are plenty of other things that you'd want more.

However, you have to understand the fundamental difference in gift giving between men and women.

Men: like/ want to give practical gifts.
Women: like/ want to give impractical gifts, preferably ones that you wouldn't buy for yourself.

Sometimes a gift is simply a gift. Show gratitude and appreciate that she likes you enough to get you a REAL icechest.

To heavy and payload is limited as compared to size of box. I got one for Christmas and politely returned it. Not practical for my main uses of an ice chest.

the only reason people say they wouldn't have a Yeti is because of the cost...they are a class product...you might hear all kinds of other answers but its a class thing...hell yea get the Yeti...

(class meaning some can afford it and some have to make smarter decisions with their money, which is about as PC as I can say it)

I wouldn't buy one for many purposes but I can see why some want them. That statement is just plain dumb though. Many people who can afford them very easily don't want one. A better description would be people buy them to make people think the are in a class, like many other products they cant afford but buy anyway. Obviously many people can afford a freaking ice chest (almost everyone) and that's what makes the yeti thing so funny.

ETA: take the gift man, you may like them.

Haven't compared but there are plenty of good ice chest. I've had very few that wouldn't actually hold ice very long at all.

Some people can't afford them and therefore make fun of anyone that has one to feel better about their shitty life.
Also, very true.
