Yeah. That's my thing. Just worried about talon wounds if one of the hawks tried. They wouldn't be able to carry her off anyway because she'd be on a spiked cable.

All I got are these two stories:
1) I recall a story from a woman in the FL panhandle whose pooch was still on its leash when a raptor tried to fly away with hit. Its owner hung on and the hawk let it go.
2) I've seen photos of a peregrine falcon eating its kill (another raptor) on the transfer aisle of the VAB at KSC, FL. I don't think it killed it inside, i.e., it hoisted it up and flew with it.
