I may work on a few of the molds or jigs first. If you can't build the mold or a jig, you can't build the guitar.

And if you start with a kit guitar, you have 90% of the work done. You are left to carve braces to "voice the top" and glue. Neck angle and neck joints are the problem areas. The retail kit sellers of course sell 100-200 jigs to make joining the neck to body easy.

Perhaps I should have kept my OP simpler. "Hey, if you HAD to buy table/bench top tools drill press, table saw etc. what would you buy?"

Maybe I did have had better luck.

Perhaps I'll try a simpler project like a 16' wooden boat.

The best choice for your situation is gonna be investing in Festool equipment and quality hand tools. Get a track saw and MFP table to start, along with clamps and dogs for the table.

It’s gonna be expensive, but it’s the best way to get precision in a small space.

Start with a pirogue, they're easy to build.
