Crazy that I was paying $.30 - $.40 for Sellier Bellot 6.8 back in 2015 or 2016 and now it’s $.95 a round.

Wolf used to be 10cpr and Russian AK/Saigas were $175...

wolf also used to be imported by the ton. It (and tula and all other Russian ammo) is no longer legal to import so if you find some it’s from a stash already here.
if you have an AK or SKS and you need ammo I would recommend getting some of this

Ammo prices and fake shortages are the work of liberal progressives trying to work around gun control by driving prices through the roof change my mind.

The days of going to the range and shooting 7.62 and 5.56 without regard are at a minimum on pause for most of us.
I don't have a dedicated .22 so I've been running my .22 conversion kit in my AR to train with. Holding onto the 5.56 for a rainy day which pains me to say feels like it's fast approaching.

I bought 223 for about .38 delivered. Reloading them for .34ish. that was probably 6 months ago. I haven't checked ammo seek to see what the comps are at.

I bought some kind of Chinese AK with about 1000 rounds of Wolf 7.62 x39mm Russian made. 200 bucks from a friend that was close to death from cancer.
He wanted 200 more dollars for a .357 S&W 686 6” barrel with about 200 rounds of Winchester SuperVel’s. 300 rounds of .357 target bullets and about 300.38Special. I had 750 on me so I gave him that.
I’ve never shot the AK. Might do that tomorrow.
