Fished out of it last weekend. He's a good friend of mine. Caught 60+ bass on top water last Thursday morning
It doesn't ride like a normal 21-10 Bullet, handles big water extremely well. Call him.

Is fishing kind of like (in my personal experience) wakeboarding in that to some extent it's an excuse to have a boat and spend time driving, maintening, and tinkering with it?

Not for me. Boat is a necessary evil. I hate everything about boating other than fishing.

I've owned Allisons and Bullets (currently have a 21' Bullet w/ 250 Mercury). They do handle well and are good to fish out of (99% of my fishing is freshwater).
Mine will run low 80's with full tournament load -- but I no longer fish tournaments and rarely have the need to run faster than 45 (especially in the Atchafalaya Basin and/or w/ younguns in the boat).
The only folks I disagree with in this thread are the ones who hate carpet. One of my Allisons had no carpet (back when Darris wouldn't build one with carpet). All I can say (from experience) is that those decks get really slippery when they're covered with frost or sleet. ('Course if you're not fishing a tournament, there's little reason to go out when it's that cold

I believe it's more of hating carpet for a saltwater boat. I wouldn't want it cause I'm slinging specks on the floor. I imagine a day of that and the carpet would be miserably nasty.

Had a nitro coastal series a few years back.
The cost versus a bay boat makes the bay boat a better value.
