never did get onto the saculait in Corne..caught mostly bluegill there last spring....got some other spots for bluegill that we are going to give a try this spring

Saw a few people perch jerkin today. Never saw them sit on a spot. Everybody was runnin around trying to find a bite and get out the wind

ETA: Water temp was between 51 and 53 degrees

We used to murder bream in there . I basses fished it 3 or 4 times and always did well . Just hard for me to stop when I know what's a little further south

We had those boys on that island setting down their rifles and picking up their shotguns after a couple days of banging away earlier this year. But they were a day late and a dollar short!

No. I wish I were! When the river is up it opens a lot of private land to boat hunting. We pretty much hunted the river all the way from gassoway to palmyra during the second split. Hit one spot for a couple of days and move to the next. We burned a lot of gas running back and forth from tallulah to lake providence but it was worth it.
