I worked a crew of men years ago. One of the guys did something similar and I had to talk the prankee out of cutting the hell out of the prankster.
Also, my wife slugged the crap out of one of my son's friends for greeting her at the door with a snake. Knocked him down!
There are folks I know that will hurt someone for pranking with snakes!

I had a buddy put a dead rattler in my bow case. I almost shatted on myself when I opened it up.
