I wear Maui Jim's. Lost my pair of Deep Blue 580's (discontinued), and I'm looking for a pair of Grand Catalina 580's (discontinued)

Caballito 580's, MJ Sports, or Raybans depending on where I am going, and what I am wearing.

Maui Jim's
Before I bought into all the costa hype, I wore maui jim's. I have 3 pairs that all got very flimsy and stretched out, so I made the switch

The new costas don't hold up nearly as well as the old ones imo

I've never owned costas so I can't speak to there durability, but I've never had an issue with my maui's

I've had similar issues with my brines, but not as much as the maui jims. It might be a problem with me and not the glasses

i've had a pair of triple tails for damn near 10 years and probably haven't worn them in 2

i went through 3 pairs of these and every time the lens where the screw went through cracked. i switched to costa (2nd pic)

the costas are just better built in my opinion

I have a pair of switchfoots 580g love them. But my favorite pair I got like 6 years ago. They are the stringers. Great fishing glasses.

RIP Bourg

i'd usually come in this thread and talk about how shitty costas are and how superior maui jims are etc..

but it's just not the same
