looking at a 18' with a 27-35hp prodrive or gatortail. i have my eye on a few right now, and will pull the trigger right before big duck season.

I've got nowhere to dove hunt. But she will be ready to roll come 6:27am on the 14th. Me, Salmon, Polar Pop and another padnuh are hitting public land hard.

Thanks and same to you. I'm hoping me, Polar Pop and Salmon will have some hoist pics. I honestly couldn't care less about killing the birds, I just want to see how the dog does with an extra year of training under her belt.

Last Coco: How old is your Boykin? I bought one this summer and she is 6 months old and retrieving like crazy. Still rambunctious but is an amazing dog. Also, did you train your dog yourself?

Bijou is 1 year 8 months. She LOVES retrieving and always has. She will swim for hours and hours anytime we go near a pond.
I taught her myself using "Retriever Training for Spaniels." It's a great resource specifically written for training boykins if you are doing it yourself.
