I need tap the OB's infinite knowledge for help procuring the best possible Christmas dinner. My fiancé nor my sister in law have ever had a turducken, so I decided I wanted to pick one up to have on Christmas Day. However my grandmother couldn't remember where she used to get them for us in Ville Platte (she is 90+ years old so I'm not gonna hold that against her). So does anybody have recommendations for the best place to get a Turducken in the BR, Hammond or New Orleans areas? Thanks in advance

PS: I could drive a little further if someone has a strong rec.

Hebert's in Maurice claims to be the original. Never had one but their stuffed turkeys and stuffed chickens are great.

ETA: I believe they can also ship them.

I've had several from Hebert's in Maurice over the years. All very good.

Also had them from Chris' Specialty Meats in BR. Also very good.

There used to be a place between downtown and the Exxon refinery that was supposed to have excellent turducken. Let me see if I can get the name of the place.

You're going to want to bait with corn where a rice field, wooded area, and farm are all adjacent to each other.
