I've been to the Coors brewery/rocky mountain can plant there at Golden. There are mountains starting right there, but it's not a very attractive place IMO. Just a crapload of old metal buildings.

Clear creek canyon is 1.5 miles from the brewery. I can’t find any images that will let me link them but it’s way better than metal buildings.

Yeah, I've just been to the brewery there. I was hoping it was going to look like the picture on their cans. They did have a big nice pond though.

If you're referring to the small waterfall in the old commercial from last century, I believe that it was from Yankee Boy Basin (Ouray CO area) based on what we were told by our jeep driver tour guide when we visited Ouray in the 90s (and saw the waterfall). This apparently is not the source of the pictures on the can. In looking for a link about the waterfall I found a statement from Coors that identifies a couple of different places that were used for the picture on the cans.

The mountain on the can is Mount Wilson (if I remember correctly), outside of Telluride.

The scenery in the ads is the best thing about Coors beer.
