Started with a BB gun around 4 0r 5, moved up to a cricket single shot bolt action .22. Now he's 8 & shoots a .410 & 30-30

I still don't trust my 5yo with a cup of milk. He isn't a pay-attentioner. He won't be holding a firearm for at least another year, not even a bb gun.

Oh, when my little girl is shooting, I've got her sitting in front of me, with my arms around her, so I can grab the rifle really quick, if she gets careless.

Son. Bb at 6 or so. 22 after that. 20 ga at 10
