2016 2.7 Ecoboost can tow 8,000lbs.

5.3l Chevy is a great engine, I have 265k on mine.

My buddy loves to borrow my tuned 3.5 to tow his trailers when his piece of shite 5.3 Chevy is in the shop. It’s a tribal thing. He’ll admit the 3.5eco tows better, is faster, gets better fuel economy, and is more reliable but he’ll always have an anemic 5.3 Chevy.
