Why are you using buck shot?

You'll need to be more specific.

The best home defense weapon is a shotgun...but if we're to be my only gun, I would get a decent sized pistol. I.e glock 19 or the likes

Eta- I am no AR expert.

And to the other guy above questioning buckshot..., what else do you suggest? Birdshot? Umm no

All those will without a doubt pass through a cookie cutter house and say hello to your neighbors.

You obviously didn't watch the video I linked because that is factually untrue.

This. I've shot multiple hogs and one deer while trailing with 230 fmj from a 1911 and they took a while to die. I would assume a man hell bent on doing harm would see the same result. Therefore, I sleep with an AR and a 1911.

you point a shot gun directly right at someone in your home and you will hit them, thats all im saying, you dont have to aim it like a rifle.

Watch this video starting at 5 minute mark, the grouping of the shortest legal sawed off shotgun at the distance you would be shooting inside a house is so small if you don't aim just as you would with a rifle you could miss.
