Protein feeder that has gotten wet and feed spoiled.

This is pretty bad. We finally upgraded to feeders with lids that don't leak.

Let me just say I freakjng hate squirrels. Chewed a hole in my feeder and it leaked and I fixed now they chewed 3 new holes with the largest being twice the size of the first hole.

The stench was bad

And pig cleaning ain't that bad. My wife cleans em just fine.

wtf? frozen specks and bass are twice as easy to clean IMO. i must be bad at filleting fish.

okay for me, i hate cleaning big offshore fish. mainly because it's so important to keep the meat clean if you want to eat any of it raw and i can never do a good enough job & wind up having to waste a lot of meat when i do a final 'trim' to make sure that the meat didn't touch the guts.

deboning deer meat is also a pain in the arse.

equipment, i guess my brother's boat? he's kind of anal about it. i don't really have a lot of equipment & i enjoy cleaning guns, fishing reels, etc. the aluminum boat i have just stays kind of muddy.

Agree. I don't mind it either way in the summer. But cleaning a limit of specks on ice in the winter is just terrible

Used to feel the same way butchering roasts...then I realuzed the probkem was my "good" kitchen knives werent up to the task.

Get yourself a crappy fixed blade buck knife and a crappy ceramic sharpener.

Deboning meat is easy as can be with an easy to grip sharp knife.

It depends on what I'm doing with it. If it's going to ground meat or sausage it's easy. If I'm trying to cut it into roasts it's a little more of a pain. I only hate doing it when it's freezing outside.

Deboning for me is best done with a 9" thin filet knife

Bring the quarters inside and debone in one of those large under the bed storage bins. It keeps the mess contained. Put a plastic cutting board on the bottom.

To me it's much easier to filet fish after they've been on ice and got good and stiff.

There's not much I like to clean. I'm anal about cleaning my guns and it even bothers me bc they have to be so clean and it's so time consuming. I don't like cleaning my hunting gear out of my truck, i don't like cleaning boots, or my hunting bags, my blind bag still has my calls and shells(bc I don't feel like taking them out). I don't mind cleaning ducks or doves at all. I hate cleaning squirrels! I refuse to clean them. I make sure someone wants them before I go hunting.
