TBH I thought that was his way of bitching about the penis not being in his mouth.

i usually use a 12 lb or less, but it really all depends. some of the pros or people who bring 10 rods with them will run the same lure on a thicker line to change the depth the lure runs. i usually only bring 2-3 rods with me so i dont worry about all that. ill just change to a shallower or deeper running crank bait to get what i want.
i prefer a thinner, low memory line that is easier to cast. usually a 12 for cranks & spinner or where ill have thicker cover, and use 8-10 for worms and smaller soft plastics

Maxima if I can find it. Anywhere from 10 to 20, but I hate using 20.
P-line if I can not find Maxima.
Big-game if I want to break off every other fish.
So far, I have not liked anything from Sufix. Way too much memory.

Sounds like youve had a bad spool too. I swore it off a couple years ago after breaking alot. Went back to it with good results.

I went with just a 10lb Stren line....where I'll be fishing there really isn't much grass/stumps, etc. I'll report back as to how it went.

notice i said i use the heavier line in thicker cover. i like a smaller line when using finesse worms and small creature baits and stuff, not necessarily in thick cover.

My bad, I misunderstood.

Its great for some applications. Anything in heavy cover, when you need feel for sensitive bites, no give on hook set for heavy hooks etc...
