What Baits are You Using Near Rigolets?

Heading out to the Rigolets and fishing Lake Catherine this weekend. What artificials are you using to be successful?

We call this time of year “popping cork season”. Artificial shrimp, berkley rattle shrimp, or matrix on light jig heads can be productive.
As it gets hotter and they move deeper you can find them in holes with various jig heads and whatever color of matrix you feel most confident in.

Lake Catherine
I've never had much luck in the summer there. Head farther out around Lake Borgne oil rigs or the north end of the Biloxi marsh.

Agree with above posters
Popping cork with marker 54 or matrix shrimp
But will do better the further east/south you go… through lake borgne into Mississippi Sound, but it’s a good little run to get there. Gotta get to salty water this time of year.
