Geo Measure is a must. It's great for getting distances and area.
Sea Tow thanks to Uncle JackD for tides
Accuweather
WeatherBoard if you like checking air pressures.

If you believe in such things, I downloaded an app called "FishTimeLite" for free that supposedly tells you depending on the solunar calendar/weather bullshite when to fish on that day.. I don't put any stock into it but it's free/fun when it's right?

ETA: it does have a good tide feature as well though, which is actually useful.

I think you meant to say to hoist your kill/catches.

I guess you would call it a road gps but try the GPS kit and see of you like it. I got it free on the AppStore.

Bulgarian doorman across the street from my office uploads video straight to youtube on his iphone. Shot this bear video last night. I told him about the bear and he videoed it, and had it on youtube in seconds.

This damn bear scared the crap out of me. I was walking to my car about 10:30 downtown and it walked around the car and stopped right in front of me, stared at me for about a minute. Long arse minute.

I hear it's worth it from people. Also, I think someone was talking about it on here a few months back.

Deer Scouter is good. Uses the GPS to plot scrapes, rubs, stand sites, etc. it also has a wind forecast.

Guess a lot of these are iPhone only apps. Don't see many on my droid.
