Saw several boats fri and sat morning fish on the tracks in bay st louis. Even had a few yaks out there. What are they catching? White trout? Trolling for specs like in ponchatrain?

Probably catching a bit of everything. People usually troll down the first part of Jourdan River and Wolf Rivers in the dead of winter (colder than this).

You can pile up some sheepshead around the bridge

This time of year will be mostly sheepshead, black drum and occasional reds for the most part.

Most of the charter boats I've seen post pictures lately have been a ton of sheepshead. I got on a good speck bite two weeks ago up the river, but they were all aroundb14-14.75 inches. Ran to Lafrance and caught a limit of reds.

Just down for the weekend. Ate at Dan Bs one night and take out pizza from Sycamore the other. Havent run the boat since november.

Need a reason, but got no clue on what or where in the winter.

Better to just watch fb and drink beer.
