Thinking about going up to north la and duck hunting for opening weekend. Anyone know what the water looks like at wham, or if there has been good reports?

It looks like coffee. It smells like sewage. That lake will absolutely destroy a lower unit on a regular outboard because of stumps. However, there are a mega shite ton of ducks on it. Right now. There always is right before 1rst split opener. There will also be a mega shite ton of face-painters out there too. It will be nothing short of chaos.

I'd stay out of there, it was labeled as the #1 most polluted waterway in the US a few years ago. Basically a catch pond for IP since the 1920's.

Yea wham is pretty much loaded rite now. I would get in line at the launch about Wednesday afternoon
