Can you give me any tips on what I should keep in both my truck and on the boat for any situations that may come up during travel or on the water? I’ve got TP covered!!
Any tips would be helpful to be honest- I’m super excited. Always wanted a boat for my own. I was tired of bumming off of friends

Looks like all you really need is KemoSabe's phone number and an ice chest of cold ones...

I just go with the phone and credit card approach.

This is a great no hassle strategy.
Another more DIY one is to buy the 300+ piece mechanics tool kit from harbor freight, but grab an expanded set of wrenches in SAE and metric because the kit is a little light on wrenches. It even comes in a pretty decent case. I buy them for all of my boats, trucks, etc. They've saved my arse more than a few times.
If you can't whittle away at your problem with that tool kit then you're probably better off going with TigerBait1971's method (or a prayer if that thunderstorms closing in and you can't get her to fire up).

Spare bearings/hub and all the tools to fix in side of road. If you have trailer disc brakes it’s a little more complicated.

Case in point, buddy called me one morning askin for a prop wrench, his sport let mega yards of braid get caught in his prop. Didn’t have a 2x4 but were able to use wrench and get prop off and cleared. Fellow was so embarrassed he handed me a benji. 9-10 times if you ask for it I got it.

Dunno how to download pics. Just purchased an older model (2005) original Kenner 24’ with 250 Suzuki with 350 hrs. Ipilot and power pole with Bimini top

I've learned the hard way that if I touch something expensive to fix it, I frick it up even more.
God gave me gifts, but handy with a wrench is NOT one of them.

Welcome to the family Rouge, DSAFI will be along shortly.
Let me know when you figure out how to post pics. Really need someone to start a Kenner thread on here for owner tricks.

Damn son. Don't ask me how I know all of this:
-Spare wheel hub and KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT!
-Spare Tire
-Spare prop hub and wrench
-Voltmeter (my boat is the same age and I use it all the time)
-Boat tool box containing wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, channel locks, snippers, flash lights, etc.
-Extra plug
-Portable battery jump starter
-Fuses for everything and known where they go

Thanks for the info. Yea I got on a good deal I think. Really excited to find a true Bill Kenner hull. If someone has an email I’ll send them the pics

Well today my fender broke off my boat trailer, so tools to take the fender off (sockets and wrenches)
Just make sure you have lots of shite to work on the trailer with. Boat trailers suck. If it has torsion axles get a whole spare torsion arm assembly, they are easier to change than a hub. If leaf springs have a hub with packed bearings and castle nut.
Those original kenner trailers are undersized for the 24's, be diligent with the maintenance. Enjoy, those 23v's are my favorite hull ever built.

its a 2005 and from my research it looks like that's the last year Bill was heading the construction/design of the hulls. i went ride in it today and it's crazy to say but it felt like a 26' when breaking waves etc.
