Academy has the Shimano Casitas on sale for $69.99. I do not own one, but the reviews all over the internet rave about how great of a reel it is at the price point. It’s also one of the few reels Shimano approves for saltwater.

I have two and really like them. I have only had them for a month so we will see how they hold up.

I think I will too. I recently bought a paddleboard to dick around with and I was kind of nervous the few times I took it out with my normal reels. I may snag two just for the paddle board and grand isle trips. If I get 2-3 years out of them I would be happy.

Temptation has been removed, out of stock online now. Knew I should have gotten my arse off the couch last night and ordered one, that was a good deal.

Sometimes Academy will put it out of stock, and then put it back in stock. Let's hope
