Another tough one, had a good evening Friday pulling in 6 reds and a bass in a little over 2hrs, Saturday even though conditions seemed decent only managed 4 trout and a red.

Headed out of Fourchon at 4AM Friday morning despite a few showers offshore. We get 40 miles out at about 10 AM and me and my buddy flop over and attempt to dive the platform.
The water was muddy, the waves were 5', the current was strong.
Neither of us ever made it to the platform. We couldnt even get past the boat.
I did not want to leave my buddy down there alone in these conditions so I gave it my all to get to the rig. When I decided to bail, I blew up my BC and I was immediately taken backwards by the wind, waves, and current.
Much to my delight, when I clear the back of the boat I see by buddy doing the same thing. We grabbed onto the tow line (thankfully we had one) and got onto the boat.
Headed back towards Fourchon at 10:30 AM

Only brought a zebco with a stopper to camp. Caught some small bream Friday evening and Saturday midmorning. We got too drunk to feel like night fishing Friday night. Took it easy the rest of the weekend.

Didn't wet a line. Brother was on leave and we hung around our pool house all weekend and
and did childish shite. I'm hurting today.

Didn't wet a hook. But my boss slammed the specks and snapper out of Cocodrie and brought me back some fillets.

Went just south of Biloxi, 37 fine specs between 16-24 inches. 70 White Trout, and 3 Reds over 25 lbs that the goofy guy on the boat wanted to keep.
All the Specs were caught on top water.

Went down to the camp with some friends and my dad and went fishing Saturday morning and afternoon. Managed about 13-15 Reds and 2 Sheepshead. I caught a monster 5lb, maybe more, Sheepshead. Here's a couple of pics...can't see much except for the two biggest fish we caught lol.
Just a note, that's about a 24-25" Red the Sheepshead is sitting on top of.

Saturday - Went to Wal-Marts with my daughter to buy her school supplies since she is starting kindergarten this fall.
Then took her to see Winnie the Pooh
Went home and played Black Ops with my 15 year old son.
Then took my daughter to Target to get her Barbie backpack with a trip to Cheeburger Cheeburger right after.
Sunday - Last minute trip with a couple friends to Univ Lake so they could take their new kayaks on their maiden voyage. Went primarily hoping to see one of them take a spill but didn't happen. We messed around a bit fishing and caught a few bass and I caught another catfish on spinnerbait.
It wasn't a sportsman weekend by no means, but a great weekend none the less!
The End.

Raised 4 Blue Marlin. One didn't get the hook, one broke off, and we released two at the boat. Picked up a few tuna on top of that.

Out of Grand Isle. We were probably pushing about 100 miles out before we got to true blue water. It was blue/green for a while. That was when we started Friday but the blue water was pushing north while we were out there.
