Were y'all catching the cats on the outer trees ( furthest from the bank)or did y'all have to go up in the trees ( closer to to bank)?...

Neighbor hooked me up with some fresh thyme he's got growing in his backyard. Put a little olive oil, fresh thyme, sea salt, fresh cracked pepper on some thick beef filets. The wife and I are in food comas now. Highly recommend getting your hands on some fresh thyme I you can

This may sound funny, but I fish for the bull bream. When they're bitting, it's easy, when they're not we mostly catch cats. Either way I always start up in the trees. This year has been funny. Unusual temps and high water. Normally by now the gar have taken over and you would move to deeper water to find some good cats, but we may have one more good weekend left. My problem is, every fish I cleaned, bream, cat, goo, had eggs!
