Yes they have. The government swipes it under the rug.

What is the government's motive for this?

A barn owl makes a hell of a scream and is responsible for most these misidentifications but yes a bobcat will make your hair stand up

Foxes too. Most people that hear a fox scream think they're hearing a bobcat, or, if it's somebody's uncle that hears it, a black panther.

Quite literally one of the biggest threats to every single endangered North American land mammal is auto accidents. Yet no squatch or Deep South black panther has ever been hit by a car. Case closed.

If squatches or black panthers lived in Louisiana someone's granny would have had a recipe for cooking the thing and it would have been common knowledge.

If Squatches lived in the PNW they would have all moved to Texas because of the taxes they owed in Washington and Oregon...imagine having lived 100s of years in an area and never paying taxes...they would be ran to ground in Washington a long time ago....we see mule deer and elk on the side of the road with a "will work for food" sign in the hooves because what meager salary they can earn being mule deers and elks....it ain't as lucrative as it would seem...all go to paying user fees and registration fees and what not so we can all proudly proclaim we aint got a state employment tax...all the way to the poor house...

If there was a species of primate found in American Forrest you would basically have to cease the logging industry.

My wife and daughter showed me a video a couple of years ago about what fox says and it wasn't even close to anything I ever heard a fox say...they were pissed when I pointed this out but they are also annoyed anytime I point out an interesting fact about nature....they are not intellectually curious at all....

Not gonna lie, Sasquatch Chronicles is my guilty pleasure. There are some pretty interesting encounters on it.
