Lol, its not that bad at all. I put 15 rds through mine a few wks ago all back to back and it was no worse than goose loads through my A300. The BAR is a heavy gun so im assuming it may absorb some of the recoil but i found my FIL's Sako A7 (?) .270 Short Mag to have more recoil than my gun.
