I havent been down to Venice in a few years, have always been cautious running through the passes. I have heard that South Pass has recently been dredged in the middle. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Should I be clear of the sandbars staying in the middle of S pass? SW still just stay inside the channel markers and watch for ships? Likely will be going this weekend and want to make sure I have accurate information still . TIA

South pass is clear. Even a lot of the cuts in south pass are clear now.

Take South. Stay in Middle, as there are still sandbars on edges. When you get to jetties - stay dead center of them or take the old cut thru before Port Eades through the island to East Bay

Been running South Pass alot lately. Stay in the middle and you shouldn't see anything less than 10'.
