Those Greenwood folks should try BB's. I do the opposite. I usually drop a deer off at both Dwights and BB's depending where I shot it. BB's is better in my Opinion.
I use Dewayne's in Holcomb. Dewayne's is not good for sausage at all, but I just get ground and steaks. The best deer sausage you'll every eat will not even come close to being as good the worst sausage from Country Pleasin'. I don't fool with deer sausage, and have had it from a ton of different processors.

Obviously, you’ve never had Vans.

pepper jack cheese from BB's on Hwy 7 in Greenwood. I'd take it over country pleasin. Now they charge you for every little extra thing, but it is some good sausage.

Yes, had Vanns many times, he's the biggest processor in Central, MS, and I used him for many years until I got back a deer that was full of hair.

One of my properties is in Teoc probably less than 5 miles as the crow flies from BBs. I remember when it was a honkey tonk, The Mud Hole was one of many names it had.

Any flavor of sausage Vanns has, his brother has across the street in pork version if you want to sample that.
I love Vann’s but this was the first year I felt like I got shorted on meat. I really need to just go back to doing my own.
