Where is the best place locally to look for used mountain bikes? I am just looking for one to get some cardio in around the neighborhood and occasionally bring with me camping.

Keep an eye on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist etc. If you see something that fits your needs be prepared to jump quick, bikes have been selling crazy fast since this lockdown took place.

FWIW, New Orleans Craigslist usually has more bicycles and higher quality than the BR Craigslist.

Try BRAMBA group on Facebook also. That is the local mountain bike organization and people sell on there.
