Update: I'm teaming up with nathannb22 on a hunt in the morning... I have a feeling this will be a great slump-buster!

to me being an honorary member of
Team Yak'n and Stack'n for a day!

After 4 unsuccessful trips to the wax in a row (dating back to teal season), my spirits are down... I need to be put on some ducks! I got the fever bad...

I'm willing to pay someone to take me and supply any necessary supplies ( Gas, snacks, beer)
I can't go on another failed hunt, can't do it

You should have luck mid week with the reduced pressure. I know the Wax has been producing, you just gotta find a hot spot. Good luck.

Let us take the time to understand why you are failing.

How many ducks are you seeing compared to how many are within 100 yds?

How many shots have you taken? How far were the shots?

Passing or decoying birds?

If/when you shoot, are the duck wings set or flapping hard when you shoot?

Answer some of these and we will go further into your problems.

Well I'm gonna have to take a break from the Wax... Buddies boat is broke down..... I'm guessing I'm gonna be walking down the nature trail on Section 120 road in Sherburne

On my first shot I like the ducks to be as surprised as B&B looking at a + sign on a pregnancy test.

I've been in the geese pretty good in Gueydan and Welsh a few times but nothing like that...

Geauxcats I forgot to email ya about the lease discussion we were having the other day. My lease is not open yet either. You still interested in looking? I am looking for something in CENLA. Maybe some fields.

None of these are the problems...

I know how to duck hunt... I had wonderful year last year at the Wax.. It's more problems with my buddy's boat and issues with getting to wherever we are going... One day wasted when boat battery died and pull cord snapped.. Another day wasted being stranded on calumet cut with carb problems... Another wasted cause buddy forgot waders and had to go barefoot...

I'm just tired of the problems...
