I've worked with people from Singapore, UK, Angola, Baku, Indonesia, and many other countries. They always ask why we have so many guns in the US. I tell them it's a God given right! No matter what I say though, they don't understand it.
They constantly ask, why do you "need" that many guns? I usually reply that "need" has nothing to do with it.
