Looking for trolling motor repair around Baton Rouge. Apparently twiddle dee and twiddle dumb (my dad and bro) had the trolling motor fall off the boat on I-10.
It still works, but we have the same problem as before that it only works on 12v and not 24- just now it's all bent up to boot.

Front to Back Marine. Used to be called "the Trolling Motor Shop."

This. On the corner of Tom Dr, behind Cortana mall. I work a block away and always see some badass boats outside the shop. Went in there to ask the guy about marine carpet for a buddy's floor we were doing. Guys were super nice and knowledgable.

I had a horrible experience at Front to Back on an outboard repair job. Maybe trolling motors are ok.

I've only bought parts from them and they were nice and knowledgeable. Never had work done by them, so I can't comment on them, but I do know they were highly recommended to me by several people.

Lots of horror stories with them...

That sucks to hear. Just saw a 24' skeeter with twin 115s sitting outside, and Sam Barberas boat.

Any other suggestions then? I feel lik this can't be that complicated, other then our trolling motor being bent up. Just the electrical stuff is so hard to get to and figure out

You'd have to explain your problem to me. Basically, if it is anything electrical, they are just going to try to replace the board. I have never heard of them troubleshooting circuits.

Well basically other than being dinged up good, the trolling motor is not working on 24v. It only works on 12v and it is useless on 12v. I'm not sure if it's simply the switch that is broken, the wiring, the connection, etc
